Are we supposed to believe that if "Alta" California would have remained a Mexico state, Cali would be better or even close to what it is today?
Just imagine the beaches. They'd be similar to those of San Felipe and Rosarito filled with litter. The infrastructure throughtout the state would be horrible. I could go on and on about why we can thank the US for "stealing" it from Mexico.
In fact, I might just start a new topic with my thoughts of California under Mexico rule would be like... |
