Listen "licenceado" It's not the DMV's job. It is the California Highay Patrols job to take action in this kind of matter. The CHP needs the publics help to catch these people who are chating the system and us, the citizens. YOU need to get your facts,not me.... I am a US citizen who pays taxes just like you "licenceado". I don't like people try to play the rightful citizens.....
These people use our paved roads for free....hey it's time they pay too.  |

With us living so close to Mexico, how do you know that a vehicle with Mex plates isn't just a visitor or employee at the residence?
Ever thought those cars at houses could be owned by nanny/babysitters/cleaners/etc. who do live in Mex? What's the problem with them staying overnight every once in a while?
Unless you spy on your neighbors, then you don't really know, now do you? |

I think N.W.A. put it best: Fuck Tha Police.
If that is indeed the CHP's job, then they need to do it. It's not up to Joe Public to be helping CHP with something as petty as this. |

It's simply border culture, both sides help each other; the door swings both ways. What about all those trucks and luxury cars with CA plates in Mexicali?
If I were to see a luxury car parked in front of me for a long time, I would not call anyone. Why? Because it's not fair, see, for instance, all those "Snowbirds" from Canada that leave their RVs for several weeks in public parking spaces and then nobody says anything. Of course, they are from Canada, who would say something... fair is fair. Move on. |
