Here’s the infamous question = “What would you like to be built in Calexico?”
Please let us and the rest of Calexico and the Calecia.com community know what you think would be the best thing for Calexico… Anything you think, ranging from more schools, to different types of business to new community parks. Liberate your mind and tell us with as little or as much detail to what you feel should be built in Calexico?

| I would like to see a large park with all the ammenities, something simmilar to Buckling but better and bigger. A nice place to spend the day or afternoon and go for a jog. Take the kids for a ride on their bikes, etc. |

You mean the mosquito infested, wrongfully constructed here instead of the rainforest, whole in the grounds built throughout the city???
Yes I agree with you both! |

You know what, I was actually having a hard time thinking of what we really need here in Calexico and I have to agree with you that a real park similar to the one you've described has got to be on the Top 3 list of things needed in this town.
Whatever happened to the one majestic park with tennis, basketball courts, blah, blah, blah to be built on the corner of Zapata Dr. and Clinton Ave. (Victoria Homes)? All talk, no rock.
#1 would have to be a dome over Calexico. |

Isnt that park supposed to be built over by Jasper and Meadows Rd?
A dome over Calexico... woudlnt help... the city would spend a lot of money with A/C... (kidding)
I think the better alternative to beat the heat in Calexico is to get Rubber Sidewalks and Rubber Streets (not kidding) |

| My mom lives near Zapata, supposedly where the new park was to be built. La verdad- La pinchi ciudad did not require developers to pay for this park. Instead they got campaign donations and upgrades to the houses they purchased. |

| a family fun center where kids and adults can have fun. it could have a bowling alley, pool tables, miniature golf. we need something that improves the quality of life for the residents of the city and that could possibly even attract people from around the valley. the park idea is also great. we also need a sports bar like Bulldogs used to be. |
