Was anyone able to get in on the Nintendo Wii (Revolution) pre-order list?

GameStop apparently had the Wii on pre-order yesterday morning, but it closed pretty early as there must have been a small number available per store location. I called all 3 GameStops in Imperial Valley in the afternoon and they were out.

I know of one person who walked in by chance and reserved one for $50.

Fortunately, Nintendo plans to have at least 3 million units (rumors say 10M) in the US alone for its November 19 launch date.

Anyone else get in on the Wii pre-order?

Can anyone confirm that some of the local electronics retailers will be getting Wii shipments on Dec. 17 (Sunday)?

I picked up a Wii at Toys R Us in Calexico on Sunday. Waited in line since 5 AM, which wasn't 100% necessary, since TRU had 80 of them. But I got one at 25% off! It sold out fast!

Anyone else get one?

Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That movement-controlled controler looks pretty cool. However, I can't help but think that it does not work perfectly. The reaction time has to have some delay with the movement.

Does it really work as great as they advertise it?

So far I had only played Wii Sports and it seemed to work just fine. Today I picked up Zelda: Twilight Princess, so I'll know for sure if the remote works well. I'm sure it will.
