Not too shabby, Imperial Valley... Not to shabby...
That said, well what can you do about this??? Anyone??? Should we just send everyone to plow the fields? or should we blame the School District for not hiring more teachers? What do you guys think? |

We're #2!
Yuma, AZ is actually worst in the country when it comes to unemployment rates.
I believe the field worker situation is what causes the jobless rates in Imperial and Yuma county to be so high. With these jobs being seasonal, the workers end up applying for UI once the farming is done. This must be a huge spike in people w/o jobby-jobs.
Then let's consider that many of the field workers don't even live in the valley and use fake/stolen SS#'s to get employed. I couldn't even guess at what percentage of workers that would be. |

So wouldnt the constant use of SS#, increase the job productivity??? |

| The situation these days is much better than it was 10 years ago. I remember in my old days after high school back in the late 1990s it was impossible to find a job at a store/restaurant. Now all kinds of jobs (min. wage) are popping around everywhere. Too bad It's too late and I don't need that anymore. |
