It turns out Vicente Fox and Carlos Slim (the 3rd richest man on the planet) will be in Mexicali for the next two days to attend the economic and job growth Northern Frontier Forum beginning today. President-elect Felipe Calderon will join them on Friday.
These are some high profile Mexicans setting foot in Chicali.

Also, isn't it strange how so many of the successful Mexicans don't even have Mexican/Spanish last names? For example, Salma Hayek is part-Lebanese and so is Carlos Slim Helu. Then there's the current president "Fox." Then Mexico had Miss Universe with Lupita Jones of Mexicali.
There are plenty others, but I thought I'd just throw in my observation. |

Yeah thats because you and most Mexicans are under the belief that all Mexicans come from spanish and natives.... and i say to you HA! |
