MexiCali Biennial art project to offer cross-border exhibition

A fusion of bi-national contemporary artists and musicians are set forth to exhibit their art and talent next month at the inaugural dual-venue MexiCali Biennial 2006. On display in the cities of Mexicali and Los Angeles from October 7 through November 4, 2006 will be progressive art exhibits in the form of on and off-site installations and “border crossing interventions” along with exhibit kick-off performances by multiple musical groups and DJs from both host cities.
There will be some artwork on display from an ex-Calexican. The "border crossing intervention" could be muy interesante. |
