Maybe the committee should of carbon copy the letter to head of the DHS Michael Chertoff. You know as they say, there’s always someone that is willing to listen. But I had really doubt that they where going to make changes to the Border times. There are simply not enough employees at the Calexico sector as well as not having a vast recruiting tool for Immigration employees instead of border patrol employees. As they say, "Homeland Security" comes first! Yet its too bad that international relations and commerce comes last...

| she just made some promises to get the heat off her back, everybody that works at the POE or knows a CBP officer knows how much of a shithole it is. last week there was an article in the paper stating how low the morale was among CBP employees. Even the CBP employee unions are speaking out about the horrible working conditions at the POE. Officers are pissed and leaving by the busloads, i hope the other POE's aren't run like this one or else we are in a bunch of trouble. |

I have family working at the San Luis POE and well, supposedly its a lot better over there... From what I’ve heard about Calexico's POE's is that the Big Kahuna there is a pain in the B! She’s the reason why the morale at Calexico's POE's is down...
But I’m guessing that overall, the CBP is not doing so well because of all the pressure Washington has on them at this moment... well see how the tide turns with the new congress in January... |
