I was driving on Highway 111 today and spotted an SUV with a sticker on the back window which read:
[Virgen de Guadalupe logo]
Efrain Bautista
Buena Suerte en Roma
Fam. Bautista
I know that name and remember an alter boy during my church going period with the same name. At first glance I thought the dude had died, but noticed no "from" and "to" dates. Then I read the good luck part.
Is this person off to the Vatican to become a priest or something? |

| I believe that yes, this guy is off to Rome to study to be a priest. I actually know this guy and I believe he left this past week and will be spending about four years in Rome to be a priest. Apparently, there is an American Seminary there for guys who are from here and are invited to study. I hear not everyone gets to go, you must be invited..... |
