What's the deal with the new (to me) newspaper/publication named The Progress?
I've yet to see a copy, but I hear Radiodude is a reporter for it, so that's one strike already.
Is it a real newspaper or is it simply the Holtville Tribune/Calexico Chronicle in sheep's clothing?
How progressive is it really? |

You mean to tell me the Calexico Chronicle is out of print ? When did this happen? |

No. The Calexico Chronicle is still around, although what I was wondering was if this new rag is basically the same thing. |

It's free. It comes out on a weekly basis. I'm not sure what day, but I'm leaning towards Thursdays.
I always see it outside of Yum Yum's. I think Circle A carries it too. I'm pretty sure the Calexico Chamber of Commerce has copies since they always cover their events and happenings. |

I was looking for a copy at El Sol a couple months ago. They used to carry it. I gave up after I realized they were no longer supporting the Calexico Chronicle. Thanks for the tip! |

| It's a Holtville paper and talks about white people in Holtville. Apparently the Calexico Chronicle is now a Holtville weekly and based in Holtville. I guess Holtville is the new "journalism capital" of Imperial County but Calecia's - "El Christ" has more news articles than those two publications combined. . We should have a "carne asada" for him/her. |

Ah, so that explains why Radiodude "writes" for them. Republican backed? |

Is it free? I need to replenish my supply of windshield/window wipes. |
