Nope. Im paying $39.95, but I am saving $10/month by not signing up for those additional lame ass services that you signed up for. But I stand corrected:

Mr. Tasty: up $30

You losers: up $0

No one's paying any extra for this deal. It comes out a little cheaper with those additional services, so you end up getting them for free. And as to lame ass services, it all depends on the subscriber. I find them very useful.

I'm not sure where you're up $30, 'cause the home networking plan is ~$150 (originally ~$250) and you get a ~$100 (mail-in) rebate which results in total cost of ~$50. This deal is available to everyone, so you don't need to "threaten" SBC on cancelling your service (which if you did, you'd still pay a $200 cancellation fee as you agreed to in the contract between you and SBC).

Don't let my new found fortune ($30) come between us. In fact, I'll buy you a burger with the money. You can even supersize those low-fat fries you been raving about. Comfort

Really? From looking a the letter I just got from SBC, they gave me a credit of $19.95 for the services during the first month, plus, I'm saving $5 a month for the next 12 month on combined phone/DSL services.

A total saving of $70.95 for my year of service.

Mr. Tasty: down $49.95

Not familiar with arithmetic huh? Your quantitative inaccuracies have disqualified you from getting free fries.

So I made a typo by hitting a 0 instead of a 9 (thus typing $70.95 instead of $79.95) and "Mr. Tasty: down $49.95" should have read "Ramrod: up $49.95". Well gee, I guess you really got me, man.

If you had done what we did, you would have saved about $79.95 above the $30 you saved on your total service cost. The way it stands, I saved $49.95 more than you did.

Now stop pretending you're a writer for The Onion already, will you? Thanks.
