Poor Randy Moss, he needed better teachers.

Plus, the kid that got accepted to MIT & Harvard is still at CHS. I think I read it on the IVP Press or Calexico Chronicle.

i can't believe you read the chronical Confused anyway, spic-ole proved my point that the student can't do much to help him prepare for the college life without a teacher. it's also true that once he's in college, it's his job to succeed, but the tools to succeed have to come from somewhere.

i think people are missing the x-factor in this whole discussion. even the brightest of the brightest get caught up in the university party life and forget to go to class. it happens a lot, and that's why many students fail. everyone looks at the education end of it, but a lot of freedom is given to an 18yr old fresh out of high school and moving away from home. sometimes it's so overwhelming that the student chooses to come back home and get his head straight.

College is not overwhelming, it's just sex, drugs, and rock and roll man.

If you're lazy and drunk all the time than anything will be overwhelming.

It's all on the individual after they turn 18.

first off, the teachers don't have to do a goddamn thing that their union tells them.

What? You ever worked at a place with a Union?

I worked for a place with a union, and I can assure you that unions are nothing more than a puppet for your employer! The unions are afraid of doing anything that might anger the union members' employers!

I know we had a heated debate on this topic for a while but I have to share some new with you all. I'm taking this class for my teaching credential, some people in this class are already teaching. Let me tell you something, if some of these morans are teaching no wonder students suck. I can't believe they are able to have a job and not myself. Seriously, Last night there was to be this "debate" as a class assignment were two students on each team stated their cases or whatever the fuck, any hoot, these people are idiots, they didn't come close to making any sort of valid argument, they were just stating these stupid facts that weren't leading anywhere. So to top it off there was this one chick, who is from this side of the border, she has all the speech patterns that show she is native to the valley, so this chick is teaching at the high school, ESL i'm sure. So any way she is yapping her mouth try to form some sort of case for her group, and then i couldn't believe it she fucking says something like, "currently there are a lot of stragadies" an emphasis on the G. I was like what the fuck did she just say, did any one else catch that, then she says it again, i'm sure thinking she sounds all smart and shit. So any way the rebuttel, mentions some other "stragadies" What the fuck. These people are teachers! Good luck to the future.

I know i went off but,

fuck you.
