I got a flat tire the other day. The flat happened because the radial wiring was already exposed and leaking out air. I figured I had to replace it, so I went to get myself a used tire.

After they installed the used tire, they gave me back my useless tire. I didn't want it and they wouldn't take it, so I told them to just dump it in my trunk. Now I'm driving around town with it.

So where can I get rid of this tire? Can I just dump it on the side of the road next to the All-American Canal near Heber or should I just place it in my blue trash can assuming that Allied Waste can recycle it?

A better question is, can I actually get some money back somewhere for recycling tires?

A tire on the side of road will damage the ozone layer? Maybe I should have paid more attention in Chem.

Oh yeah. That's a lot closer than near Heber.

Think it will float all the way down the All-American though?
