Oh yeah. That's a lot closer than near Heber.

Think it will float all the way down the All-American though?

Looks like it's going into the New River then. That bio-hazardous stream will probaby dissolve the tire before anyone catches site of it. If not, we may see some mojado tubin' down on through towards the Salton Sea.

I called Allied Waste Services and asked if they handled tire disposal and/or recycling and they said no, but they did give me a telephone number to where they could help me within the organization.

I called the number based out of El Centro and they stated that if it's a personal tire disposal, I can take it to a facility on Heil Ave. in El Centro on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon. They then gave me another number to call to see if there was possibly a location in Calexico that would handle the tire disposals.

I called that number and they basically confirmed the information from the previous call and added that from 12:00 noon and on the Brawley location would handle this for that region.

When I asked how much they charged for the disposal, they said their was no fee as long as you were a county resident. I assume that businesses are probably charged, but I did not ask.

Each time I wasn't able to catch the name of the recycling/waste facility that handled this, but with the information I was given I came up with the following information, although there is no answer right now and I believe that's the same as AWS.

Valley Environmental Svc
(760) 336-0044
702 E Heil Ave
El Centro, CA 92243

Can anyone confirm the location of this place?
