I would suggest enabling users to edit their posts. It's really annoying when I make a big typo and I can't go back edit my post, or sometimes I simply want to add another sentence or two. Oh yeah, and double posting looks horrible(for some strange reason) that's why I'd rather edit my post, than post again.

Ok now I sound like a bitch for something so small. Laughing

The Edit button is only available to current and paid Calecia.com Premium members.

What happened to the "Edit" button?

or you could allow to edit the post for a couple of minutes after it was posted... like enable it for 10 minutes only...

phpBB doesn't have this feature, but that would be good one to have.

There's hundreds of mods out there for free, maybe you could find one like that does something simliar to that. Or you can make one yourself, I wouldn't try that though, you might mess up up the whole forum.

We're looking to replace this message board software in the future. Either I'll be building one on my own or actually paying for a real one with the features we need.

The only problem with switching it out is the possibility of losing all the old posts. Our posts aren't that important anyway, right?

Well not for me, but I only have 9 posts.

If you're gonna pay for something I suggest IPB, for various reasons I'm too lazy to discuss.
