Tax time is creeping up real quick. For those of you who've recently found a new job or have no clue as to how much you'll be paying or getting back from the IRS, make sure you check out this tool provided by them.
- 2002 Withholding Calculator
What's real helpful is that it suggests what adjustments you might want to make on a Form W-4 so that you don't end up have to pay any extra after you've filed your taxes.
BTW if you get audited, don't forget to bring your tin-foil hat and act retarded. |

This thing is pretty cool, and gives some good info in what I should do during tax time.
The only thing that sucks is knowing early that I'm not getting a dime on my tax return. |

That's the point. You don't want to overpay or underpay your federal taxes. If you're thinking about overpaying the goverment just to get a "refund" come tax season, you may want to think twice about that.
Best thing to do is only pay what you've got to pay and put the money you would have overpaid in a savings account or something similar. Of course us being ignorant Mexicans, we don't do this and are just happy to get a check from our tio. |

| That is exactly true. I mean, how many of us would take the time to deposit the 50 dollars or so into a savings account? It would take a Herculean effort to do this and the fucked up thing is that you might still have to pay some taxes and then all you'll be left with is the measly interest you earned in your savings account. A whopping $2 for the year. |

If you're not using a primative bank, then you could easily do this online. It would take you less than a minute to do so. That's how I get it done.
You're right about the measly dividend. The sad thing is that you need to report this shit as income. How fucked up is that? |
