According to an article on NJ.com, in Osama Bin Laden's recent audio tape release, he states:

"If you (Americans) are sincere in your desire for peace and security, we have answered you. And if (President) Bush decides to carry on with his lies and oppression, then it would be useful for you to read the book 'Rogue State.'"

The book he is referring to is "Rogue State: A Guide to the World's Only Superpower," by William Blum

No word yet, if he'll plug the new Harry Potter in his next audio tape.

Well right now it's ranked #39 on Amazon and yesterday's ranking was #19. It's currently sold out and on back order, so maybe Osama might want to think about starting up a book club just like Oprah did.

Osama Book Club.

There's also one copy of this book available used by a seller, so could that be OBL selling his copy? Could be a collectors item.

Wow. According to this news article, the book ranking jumped from #209,000 to #30 (on Friday). That's one hell of an endorsement coming from what might be the United States' most hated man.

The author William Blum says he was happy to hear that his book is off the shelves and didn't mind that OBL the force behind it.

Man, how unpatriotic is that? Where are the protests against the book's sales?
