I remember hearing that there is a designated day in order to leave your Christmas tree outside and have the city come and pick it up. Does anyone know when that is?
Are there any procedures that need to be followed?
I'm looking for the date for Calexico, but disposal dates from other cities are a good idea to add as well. |

The pickup is done by Allied Waste Disposal and won't be until next, week along with your green waste. This should be on either Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on the day of pickup for your designated area in Calexico.
You can call them at 355-0004 for more info.

I just called to confirm the pick-up date for Christmas trees and I've now been told that it will be:
Every Monday up until January 23rd, 2006.
This included today, so I guess the last customer service person gave me incorrect information. Surprise, surprise... |

Got my tree picked up as scheduled. The workers left a big mess of needles on the street.
Of course I had to complain about something. |

In 2007, they'll be picking up Xmas (and Holiday) trees in Calexico on Monday, January 8th.
If it doesn't get picked up that day, they'll be picking them up on Saturday, January 13th. |

I noticed no one around my area got their tree picked up either. I forgot to take mine out for Monday.
Maybe it'll get picked up on Wednesday or Saturday. |
