Has anyone looked into the new gym in Calexico behind Big Lots / Dollar Tree (old K-Mart building) named "Calexico Gym?"
I heard about it from someone and then passed by the other day. It looks big and full of workout equipment, but not knowing anything about gyms wasn't able to tell if it's good.
Apparently there's a promotional deal going for couples, which is something like $60 USD a month. I don't believe there was a membership fee.
Maybe our resident health expert, Americano, has checked it out? |

| as a matter a fact i have seen it and i saw our city fire truck outside with a few firemen inside obviously. i don't think our mayor takes the fire truck to the gym. anyhow, that to me sounds like fraud, waste, and abuse. i would imagine that the fire truck is to be parked in the station untill called up. just a thought or i could be an idiot and not know what the hell i am talking about. |

Unbelievable.
The only reasoning behind this might be so they can get to a fire that much quicker, but if it's only one fireman there, then forget about it.
So what are the other fireman to do when both trucks are out and there's an emergency? They do the Nextel thing, right?
teet-teet! |
