|
|
After 2 years of misery with Cingular, my contract with them is done. I still have their service on a month to month basis, but as soon as I find an alternative, I'm switching.
Any recommendations?
Requirements:
No (international) roaming
Reasonable pricing
Great reception
Good phones
No bullshit
Thank you. |

I still have to say that here in the Valley, you can't go wrong with Sprint.
They have the best reception, good phones, and as far as that little no international roaming thing, their phones allow you to shut off roaming.
I've had a couple of problems with Sprint since I started with them, but I'm the only person that I know of that has, however, the problems have had nothing to do with reception, it's had to do with the customer service department messing up my features. |

| I agree with Sprint. I had my phone there for over four years and I haven't had any major issues. If I to choose over again I think I would check my options on the "pay as you go" phones. |

| I have to agree that sprint is the better service down here and even better that they merged with nextel. My service even reaches in mexicali and I have an option to dial from international roaming in case of an emergency. I am waiting for a phone that is able to direct connect both sprint and nextel customers with one phone. |

I've been leaning towards Sprint as well, but am still looking at other options.
Anyone with T-Mobile or Verizon? |

From the two, for the Imperial Valley Verizon is the way to go. I've got T-Mobile and every time I'm in the Imperial Valley the reception totally blows. I've heard Verizon even gives you good reception in the mountains. It has no roaming, which is the beauty of it.
For you, my vote is definitely Verizon. |

I had Verizon for about 4 years, and that was one the darkest periods of my life.
The customer service blew, and it's true that the network was always standing right behind me, but it was always waiting for me to drop something so I could bend over and pick it up.
It has good reception, but I think Sprint still rocks Verizon's world (here at least.) |

don't look at any other options, you'll be fucked with another contract with shitty service. sprint is not that great, but it is the best here in the valley |

Mr.elcrist, Sprint.
In my area( L.A., San Gab to the San Berdo West end, No.O.C.) it's the one I have because of family and amigos who also have the Sprint plan we all speak(10min+-) to each other no loss of min( 20+ PERSONS). I do not know anything about current plans with sprint our plans tend to be 3yr old plans+- plans. |

Looks like I'm going with Sprint soon.
Is there any advantage with going through an (authorized) Sprint dealer over the official Sprint store and/or Web site? |
