I would have to say my favorite album (which is different from my favorite band) would have to be Slayer's "Reign in Blood."

That is definitely the best album from Slayer, if not the best speed metal album in existence. Every once in a while someone breaks out Reign In Blood during a pistiada and it's on.

everyone says that reign in blood is like the shit....i HIGHLY disagree...the best slayer album is Show No Mercy (which is the 1st one) and it just rules...Reign in Blood just got more airplay because they joined up with American label and def jam....the 1st 4 slayer albums were on Metal Blade, and it wasn't as popular but they were the best slayer albums...as to the best speed metal album in existence, i would have to say it's Dark from Metal Church, or something from Testament

What about GZA: Liquid Swords?

This album is totally awesome. It has catchy beats, cool martial arts movie clips at the beggining of almost every song, and philosophical rhymes that would make any fan of 50-Cent's head explode. No bullshit and no I'm a pimp playa bling bling all bitches are hoes nonsense. It also features other members of the Wu-Tang Clan which add to the greatness of this album.

Good rap needs love too.

I'd take "Ride the Lightning" over any other Metallica album.
