I'm no English expert, in fact I got my high school diploma from TV, but sometimes a typo can kill the power and legitimacy of your message.
I'll need to compile a list of top misspelled words on Calecia.com...
Now back to the topic!
People want low-cost, whether it's quality or cheap products. Whatever ultimately comes into Calexico and survives is good with me, but we definitely do need some quality in Calexico and the rest of the valley.
I'll continue to go to Mexicali for my needs which aren't fulfilled here in Calexico or IV. For example, there's a new gelato and dessert place in Chicali (2 months old on Justo Sierra) called Gelateria. Where does IV offer me freshly made gelato? No where that I'm aware of, so I cross international borders and thanks to the shorter wait times (props to those working on the issue) and don't dread going to Mex anymore. |

I like to mess with you the same way you like to mess with me... that said...
I think your response to the topic would be in the wrong thread. Maybe you where probably trying to post this message over at the “Calexico Moving Backwards” thread. On that note, someone may want to try to build a Gelato place in Calexico… They are good with fewer calories! |

Yeah, I'm totally confused. My responses are usually rushed (that's why I wasn't making any sense a few days ago), so now I've goofed again.
I'm not so sure gelato has less calories. It's simply ice cream with less air, thus giving it its thicker/denser make-up. You might have been referring to sherbert/sorbet.
Oh, and here I go again being completely wrong and talking outta my ass... There will indeed soon be a gelato/ice cream place in Calexico. It's next to Rally's in the mini-mall and called Banana Split. Booyah!
So I might just stop tripping to Mexicali for a taste of this fine Italian treat. |

Quoting Wikipedia:
"Gelato has become a generic Italian word for ice cream, though true gelato contains no cream."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gelato
This would make "most" gelatos have fewer calories than Ice Cream.
Good for Calexico, I'll go try that banana place next time I go down there in November... |

| I remember reading something about rebuilding the airport in Calecia a while back, and today in my Ap gov. class, Congressman Bob Filner went, and one of the things he mentioned was that he wanted to rebuild the airport in Calecia.....hmm |

He must be tired of landing in the Imperial Airport...
There are various information about the rebuilding of the CLX Airport on the City of Calexico website. Check it out...
