Said a polite and monotone sounding old caucasian lady when I answered the phone.
It's happened three times to me already on two different land-based telephone lines inside the same building. The third time was even more freakier as it appeared to be deja vu.
All three times the voice, the message and the tone on the other end has been identical. Most likely a recording. But why?
Is it to verify that someone is at that number or is it a random service simply war dialing? Unfortunately there is no number that appears on the Caller ID screen, so I cannot call back to check on who it is.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I called the wrong number. Bye bye."
Has anyone else received this call? |
