|

Almost every Mexican restaurant in the Imperial Valley makes and sells burritos. Some are good, some are (real) bad. I haven't found one that is great.
It used to be that Roberto's was king, but those days are (way) long gone and the search for the best carne asada burrito now begins.
Who's got the best (carne asada) burrito in the valley? Who is the better burrito baker? |

This is tough, because every single burrito place that I've been to tastes the same. And those that are different, taste really bad.
I would have to say that the best one that I've had would be from Mexicali Tacos. Not the greatest, but I guess the better one of the others. Avoid Las Salsas burritos at all costs.
Now that I think of it, I can give you a better list of burritos you should avoid. |

| There is a new place in Heber that sells carne asada burritos using Kennedy's Karne. That sounds like a good burrito. |

| D'poly's in calexico makes a series of excellent burritos...try the "poly burrito" ...if not go to "donut ave." also in Calecia and try some of those....those are ok....D'poly's is the best |

I may have not been able to find the best carne asada burrito, but I have found the best pollo asado burrito and it lives in Nana Dora's of Brawley.
Sprinkle a little lemon on it and POW! |
