Like many of the decisions and opinions we make, once again, this particular discussion is a sign of the lack of information and one sided perspectives we share (with respect to all, the proper word is ignorance).
Teachers need to earn what they get, but the true evaluators need to be the citizens of Calexico, not the standards or the federal and state authorities. The true judges should be the citizens of this wonderful community. So get up and go to the next school district meeting so you can get informed and help make decisions instead of bashing someone that is a reflection of you.

You seem to contradict yourself first stating that there's a lot of ignorance around these posts here and there but, assuming that there is indeed a degree of ignorance about what is really going on within the school sites and the latest news, then you claim that it's up to the "citizens of calexico" the ones that have to decide. If you don't like what you read from common posters here then you will be disillusioned about what others in the rest of the community think about this issue. Of course that it's up to you to have your own stance, but you won't go too far believing that the citizens of calexico will be less ignorant that the people that post comments here. Remember Measure Q? |

Please be more specific about who you claim to be ignorant. If you are referring to me, then call me out on it, because as far as I know the information I have provided is accurate. If it's not, prove me wrong.
BTW, you misspelled "Frredom" in the Subject. Are you a terrorist or something? |
Don't take it personal. I felt the author of this meant every one that contributed to this post was ignorant. But that's the teacher mentality, we're all stupid, but not the teachers! Give me a break, the true evaluators are the citizens of Calecia? That just doesn't make a rat ass sense! I stand by what I posted previously... |

| I think teachers should work strickly for the enjoyment and not get paid at all. They should be like priest who make a vow or something to poverty or whatever. Teachers should only recieve a bowl then walk around and live off the kindness of others. |

Better yet, teachers should pay parents for allowing children to be taught by them. |
