The town of Heber might soon have its own mall that will be part of the new development of the future city.
The mall will have a theather complex, brand retail stores, and some fast food restaurants. Heber residents will protest this because they are concerned about the traffic impact that they have been suffering due to the opening of the Imperial Valley Mall.
Calexico Mall......
The mallmania is running wild and Calexico will have its own mall too. The mall will be located next to WalMart Supercenter and it will count with 11 top brand name strores. Among the potential stores there is a rumor that Barns & Nobles will be there as well as target. |

heber is getting an outlet center... its called imperial center.. and no its do not confuse it with the imperial commons which will be located next to the current mall. The imperial center will be located in the north eastern corner of heber rd and 111....
you cant really call the stuff they are going to make next to walmart in calexico a mall.. its more like the el paseo thing...
I think that they are also planning to put an outlet center with the new casino.... i think.. |

| target send me an email stating that they have no plans for calexico, after i had sent them an inquiry about them making one in clx.... barnes and noble thats a new one |

Hey, locoinclx. Really appreciate you make all attempts to very posted information. I called up Entravision and hoped to speak to Walter Ulloa about his ties to Calexico, but he was out of town. Let a message with his secretary though. |

| Who know's what business are coming to calexico but for sure there will be 11 new brand name stores in Calexico that will come in the next year. |

Where will the store be located.. and what is with that sign over by 98 and Browker rd... its supposed to be land for a shopping center... anywone have a clue if there are already any takers?? |

The tentative location for this "mall" will be next to the walmart supercenter as part of the new look of the city of Calexico in that area.
That part is being planned. Years ago they said that a developer was making an RV golf club convention center on Browker. That project is now on hold and the new rumor is that a five star hotel resort waterpark will be there in the future with the Casino and an addition to that. Who knows? |
