Initially ruled a suicide, 13-year-old Chelsea Dunn may have accidentally killed herself by what some kids call a game.

“They call it something dreaming,” says twenty-year-old Kelly Pilger. Sarah Johnson remembers, “They call it fainting each other.”

Self-asphyxiation-choking each other or themselves, which produces a kind of high. “Press people up against a wall, until they didn’t have any oxygen, until they passed out,” describes Kelly. Jessica Fuller says “[they] probably do it for about four hours at a time, like repeatedly, over and over again.”

I remember a variation of this "game" while in De Anza and it was the all the craze between guys. I'll admit I tried it once, but quit after I realized it couldn't be good for you if it almost made you pass out. There was one popular guy who fainted and landed flat on his face, leaving a huge scabs all over.

Luckily no one died or received any permanent brain damage, that I'm aware of. Some of the kids were kind of dumb, so I don't know though.

Take it from experience, do not try* this at home, school, work or where ever.

you know i cant remember any games like that when i was in school.. but im pretty sure its just my pathetic memory and not the fact that there were games like that...

my brother did that a few times and so did my cousins, until my my mom and aunt caught them and kicked their ass for being stupid

I remember doing that as a child, many years ago. We use to see how close you could get to passing out. The loser was the kids that fainted and cracked his head on the concrete. I remember kids actually falling to the floor banging their heads. I did it once( Idid not faint) and when I saw my friend hit his head on the sidewalk I never did it again.

Kids now a days are killing each other like this? They need to start having sex or something.

when I was 12 a school boy came to my circle of friends with this game and was supposedly the "expert" on how to press the neck. He was so good at it that he was pretty confident with the ones that volunteered. There was a boy that used to snore within 4-5 seconds for the three or four times that he tried. I, unaware of the seriousness of this game, tried it two or maybe three times. They said that I was dancing when I tried it and I remember it somehow.
