As part of Cingular Wireless' five-year lease agreement with the City of Calexico to install an antenna in downtown Calexico, the water tower will repainted.
Repainted? Why?
What needs to be repainted? The metal or the Calexico script name?
Is Calexico up to some new whacky idea that will ultimately piss off residents or did they really mean to "touchup" the water tower? |

yeah I remember when I tried to repaint my old 76' banged up datsun and I still felt like it was a piece of crap.

They ought to retouch it and leave it as it is. No modifications.
I can almost guarantee Cingular offered to adopt it if they could put up their dumbass logo. |

| I was making line late last night and noticed there's a thick garnet strip of paint around the water tower. I didn't get a chance to see it from the US side, so I wasn't sure if the vintage "Welcome to Calexico" was gone and replaced with the new lame City of Calexico logo. |
