The Foster's Freeze Bubblegum Dipped Ice Cream Cone

I've stared at the poster on the window of Foster's Freeze's bubblegum dipped ice cream cone for months now and everytime looked away in disgust swearing never to try it. But inside I was craving it all along and today I gave in, only because I wanted to coat over the inconsistent Big Boss I had at Brawley's F2.

I went for a kid's size just in case I had to toss it at first taste and save a few cents. The cone came through the pick-up window glowing a fluorescent pink that captivated my mind. It looked toxic and lethal, but yet so delicious. My taste buds didn't know what to expect.

It tasted like creamy and crunchy bubblegum on my cold cone. I was trying to imagine chocolate and at times I'd get hints of it. But then the strong taste of bubblegum was back. A strange combination. I didn't know if I'd be regretting it later.

I probably won't be having another bubblegum dipped cone again, but I'd have to say it was worth the taste. An interesting experience, nonetheless.
