| Back in the 20's during prohibition many "stars" of holywood would come down to calexico and party in mexicali and come home and stay in the deanza hotel, one of those stars or celebrities was Al Caphone. while running from the law, Caphone built a house in la rumurosa, on the way down from the mountain. he hide there for months or weeks at a time, his house was made up of a huge cave that was carved out and formed his house. the house still stands to this day and can be freely visited, with some security guard making sure no one tagsthe walls of the house. |

| it's Caro Quintero's, not Al Capone. The cave house is an amusement now. they charge to get in. bungee jumps and the pool will soon be open for about a dollar fifty |

| Can you guys specify as to where the house is located? Cause I know of this house that we call "La Casa del Piano", cause the house is built on the form of a piano, that almost seems to be carved out of the mountain it's next to. It has a swimming pool made out of rock, and when you go to the side of the house, you can see the Laguna Salada and the Road going to Mexicali. But this house is open for everybody to go look at, and there's even a big star of david with a whole in the middle, and some blood stains, where I'm guessing satan worshippers go do their thing. I've heard many rumors as to who this house belonged to, the most credible ones are to a Mafia dude, and to an Ex - Governer of B.C. who made that his summer home. |

| about 10 minutes when coming down the mountain after you pay la quota in la rumorosa. in one of those deadly curves you will see a bunch of cars parked to the left hand side(there is always people there)the house is to the right hand side. don't confuse it with the site seeing parking lot. the house has no parking lot, it's just of bunch of cars parked in the side of the road. It is before you get down to la laguna salada. |
