there's a new film out written, directed and starring Miranda July. i saw it last weekend at the landmark in hillcrest. it's the best movie i've seen in a long time. it tells an interesting story and deals with children and sexuality in a very understanding way. it's getting lots of praise and it won lots of awards at different film festivals. so, if you're up in san diego, you should definitely check it out. i'll tell you that it's a little odd, though. a good odd.
