elchrist's prediction: Tony will live. None of his real family will be touched. In fact, "T" will rat out both his mob and Phil's to the one federal agent who frequents the deli thus ending all mob-related biz in America. The Sopranos will then get into a witness protection program and be relocated to Calexico, CA where no one will ever see him again. Except for Calecianos, of course. |

Tony is not dead.
There was a pattern with the people walking in through the front door. You'd have a shot of Tony at the table, the door bell would jingle, and Tony would look up and you'd see the person walking in.
It happened every time.
When Meadow is about to walk in (as the door bell rings), the screen goes black. If we would have seen Meadow coming through the door, then the chances of Tony having been whacked would've been real high since you are viewing the scene from his perspective (first).
Now the last frame showed Tony's face, so what perspective is that?

Who got whacked?
You and me.
I guess there really is no right answer, but I sure thought it was hilarious how many on the HBO forums were calling conspiracy about how they saw Meadow in the last frame thus meaning Tony was in fact killed off.
