Has anyone been to the Subway in Calexico?
I've been there twice already, and man it is horrible. I got a meatball sub from there today, and I'm not really sure how you can mess this one up, but they did. The bread was stale and old, for one thing. |

I don't know WTF is going on with Subway in the entire Imperial Valley. They've either been hiring Sandwich Art School flunkies or the food quality has just dropped.
I used to like Subway. I remember the days when I practically ate there everyday for lunch and now I go about once every 3 months.
None of the workers, except for the ones that have been there for years, know how to make their own Subway brand sandwiches. Whether I ask for a meatball, pastrami, or chicken breast sandwich they always ask "What do you want on it?"
What do I want on it? I want WTF it comes with!
They usually respond with, "Well, it comes with whatever you want on it."
Baloney.
Next time I go to Subway, that's if I do, I'm going to jump behind the counter and make my own damn sammich. |

I thought the bread was "freshly baked", that's why they say "SUBWAY! EAT FRESH!"..... hmmm well I liked it a lot, damn all this torta talk has made me hungry. |
