Actually, they might be.
I like some of their music, but what really intrigues me about them is the image. They put on an act, are in costume and act funny. That usually makes a band worthwhile. For me it's more about the performance than the music at times.
A band could "kick ass" at playing music, but if they just stand still and do their thing then that is boooring. I'll stick around if you get my attention, but if you just stand there, I'll go have a seat.
