To build or not to build: that is the question.

That's at least the question on June 7th during the special election for Measure N in Calexico. It will be ultimately answered by Calexico residents, but another question is by how many?

Do Calexicans allow an Indian tribe to buy land in the city and setup a hotel casino? The majority of customers the tribe is targeting are Mexicali people to spend some money on gambling and entertainment. There will definitely be many from Calexico and the rest of the Imperial Valley, as well as some trickling in from Yuma. It's up to Calexico to decide and it appears that these other areas are hoping the answer is "Yes."

I'm still undecided myself. I want it and I don't. Casidunno.

It will bring a few more new positive options to the valley and it could also bring some negative ones too. I seem to understand both sides of the spectrum, yet I haven't quite made the decision. It may end up being a last minute call or I might just say screw it and let's do it.

Whatever it is I choose, I hope everyone that can go out and vote on Tuesday will show up to do so. What I do not want to hear in the future is a lot of bickering about the outcome, yet with the result being low voter turnout. This will be most disappointing. Just have everyone vote on it, whether it's "Yes" or "No," and deal with the aftermath.

Take a gamble, even, and flip a coin if you're not sure at the polls. Just do your best to get out and vote and take full responsibility for your decision afterwards.

I'm definitely voting on Tuesday. Then after that, I'm taking my coupons and voting receipt and getting me some pan dulce.

The answer is easy. Yes. Build the M.F-er.

So is Calecia.com going to be covering the polls?

How about some video on the voters opinions?

Is this some kind of incentive for voters?
