When I've gone to Costco to get a slice of pizza and a soda, I've noticed a banner in the tire servicing area that advertises inflating your car's tires with nitrogen. I never really thought about it much and wondered how exactly nitrogen could benefit the consumer when it's in someone's tires.

I finally decided to look it up and found that since nitrogen has no moisture in it, tire pressure is not susceptible to temperature changes so it does not fluctuate. This gives you more consistent and efficient fuel economy. It also provides a more even wear on the tire's tread.

Nitrogen also has larger molecules. Larger is usually better, right? Well it in this case it is because it eliminates the problem of air escaping out of your tires. I always thought it was because I didn't have the caps on tight enough.

Anyway, it seems like adding some N to your tires is good for you, except it isn't free. Is anyone doing so already?

So you're actually benefitting from it? If so, how?

You are living in the future, my friend. It'll be eons before cheese filled tires are in mass production and widely accepted by price conscious consumers.

You must think now. And now starts with what?

Please explain to us how cheese will increase the fuel efficiency in cars of today and how filling your tires with this dairy product will be less expensive than 50 cent (and sometimes free) air.

And explain how the streets will be safer when laden with cheese and how you will implement security measures to prevent the French from sucking out said cheese while drinking their fancy wine.
