| I have never understood why someone would want to hack a website? I really don't understand those who hack or those who send out viruses? Do these people really have nothing else or better to do with their time than to hack web pages and send out viruses? I really don't understand why........ |

I think it's the trill of getting caught and/or getting away with it. Some people that have money will steal for the kick of it. I think they are Turkish, how did they pick the Calexico site? I though that the new host of the site was secure and good at doing their work.  |

I have no idea who put together the new Web site or how secure it's supposed to be, but my first speculation is that the content management software running it may have been out of date.
It's also most likely that this cracker has no clue as to who or what Calexico is as they probably ran a search script looking for a known vulnerability in Web sites running the CMS system.
Or the Windows server was out of date.
Will Calexico go to war with Turkey? |
