But yeah If u ever to to San diego hit up the mision valley mall, they got Initial D the arcade game and its pretty damn good. So yeah, play it. An arcade has to be a very tough business to keep profitable nowadays. Unless you have a lot of new and (physically) interactive coin-ops, then you will lose most of your business to console gaming.

At least here locally, you don't see anymore pairs of arcade machines inside convenience stores like we did growing up. Circle K/A, 7-Eleven, Fastrip/Big Johns used to always have some kids hogging up the games, but they obviously pulled them out for a reason.

Remember when arcades were the shit and everyone hung out at them? They were so busy that some homeowners even setup shop on their driveways and charged the neighborhood kids to play.

Come on, even Pizza Hut took out the table-top Miss Pac-man.

no way they got rid of table top mrs pac man? THOSE PENTAGON BASTARDS! well, whatever, yeah I kno about the whole arcades being extinct ...and Im also aware of donut ave getting infected by cholos. Damn haha, but you know what? After playing my PS1/PS2 over the last few years, I come to realize that arcades arent that Important. Cholos can use the Donut ave as a base and I wouldnt care. Smile

never heard of it, maybe it was bck in the day. Arcades are extinct pretty much. But the new consoles coming out are supposed to be pretty damn good. Nintendo revolution is gonna have a feature where u can download pretty much every game that nintendo has released for the past 20 years, and the xbox 360 and PS3 have some gorgeous graphics. Arcades are a thing of memory now...but still fun to go to when u find em. Play inital D 3rd stage...itll get your arcade blood flowing.

there is a LACK of arades down here in the valley. we don't have any. Quaters in El Centro used to be the shit. They have a lot of billiards and food. I remember going and playing Mortal Kombat all night long. Too bad though I believe the consoles just took over. I went to an arcade in Vegas a couple months back and everyone is playing these dancing arade game... not thanks that ain't my cup of tea.
