Saw a flyer at work today about some free Cisco Internetworking course being made available in Imperial. I believe it starts on October 15th, but I could be wrong.

I'll post all the info on Monday.

A little late, but I just got the scoop on Friday:



Imperial Valley Regional Occupation Program & Imperial Unified School District are pleased to offer...

CISCO Networking I-IV

Class starts
10/15/02

Days & Times
Tuesday & Thursday 7:00 p.m. To 9:00 p.m.

The first class will meet in the Digital Hight School lab, located next to the Imperial High School Library.


This will be the first of four courses designed to provide students with classroom and laboratory experience in current and emerging networking technology that will empower them to enter employement and/or further education and training in the computer-networking field. Instruction includes, but is not limited to, safety, networking, network terminology, and protocols, network standards, LANs, WANs, OSI models, cabling, cabling tools, routers, router programming, star-topology, IP addressing, and network standards.
