I have always used diskettes to save my work. Recently, I have been working on a Power point presentation and I saved it my diskette. I think the Power Point destroyed the diskette and everything was deleted.
Fortunately, a friend of mine saved the power point in his USB drive and the project is still there.
I now use my Scan Disk (USB Drive) to save my work. This device will kill diskettes because computer companies will stop putting diskette drives in the future.
Please buy a USB Drives. Thanks. |

Floppy drives may eventually disappear on consumer/home computers, but it will be a long time before this happens on workstations and servers. Floppy disks are necessary for updating your BIOS, as boot disks and to run useless operating systems like LOAF (Linux On A Floppy).
