these ladies are seriously the best band in the music scene right now. i shit you not. their 7th album "the woods" comes out on may 24th on sub pop records. they were named best band in america by time magazine in 2000. i've seen them play 9 times and i'm gonna go see them 3 more times in june. rock 'n roll!

I saw small review for their new album on GIANT magazine. They gave them an A, I think.
Still haven't heard the band, though. |

| i saw a few copies of the album at the mall. prices are a bit steep, though. well worth it if you bored of all the franz ferdinands, the killers, and the braverys out there right now. that's not to say those aren't bad bands. this sleater-kinney album is just completely different. |

i know, i know. i keep blabbering on about them, but they are, what i believe, the best out there right now.
they'll be on mtv2's "subterranean" this sunday night. i'm not sure what time it starts, but it's pretty late, i believe.
AND they'll also be on david letterman's show on monday night.
they kick all that killers/bravery/faint stuff to the curb. booya! |
