i'm not a really big punk rock fan, but i do listen to some stuff. i was wondering if any of you could give me some recommendations cos i'm interested in finding out about more stuff. i know it's a pretty broad genre, but anything you could think of is cool.
i've already been listening to the germs, x, the slits, the ramones, the jam, the raincoats, the clash, essential logic, and x-ray spex. |

| Well, since lately, there's been a great bastardization/commercialism of this music I really don't know what you consider "punk". I'll tell you what I have been listening to since I was 12 and I what I consider "true" punk. Angry Samoans, Circle Jerks, Germs, Black Flag, Plugz, Flesh Eaters, Eskorbuto, Atoxxxico, Sindrome, DRI and there are way too many to name. Fuck, what do I know anyway. |

| I've listened to your radio show before and I think you'd like Wire, Toy Dolls, Richard Helland the Voidoids, MC5, the first Dickies album with "I'm A Cholo" and "Manny, Moe and Jack," Manic Hispanic. There's so much stuff out there it's hard to recommend. |
