There are death metal bands in Calecia?  nah they're all at IVC and shit haha |

There are death metal bands in Calecia? nah they're all at IVC and shit haha |
I remember seeing flyers looking for double-bass drummers for death/speed metal bands at Whittaker Music in Calexico some time ago. |

Well, as you may or may not know, Calexico's marching band is under new management, with Melanie Matchett from Wisconsin, seeing as to how our old director Mr. Lucas went to Willie Moreno. This past Saturday at Cattle Call, we lost the sweepstakes trophy to Holtville, and we had it for 2 years  De Anza came in 2nd place among the Jr. High bands, which is something that hasn't happened in almost a decade (Rassmussen was pissed)...what a bad day for Calecia marching bands |

| So i had a chance to talk to Rasmussen at De Anza a couple of days ago ....he said De Anza hadn't lost the junior high category in almost 20 years.....as for the High School, do'nt blame matchett, the current seniors, that were part of the two year win sweapsteaks streak should have kept that intact...and for the record the two years the band kicked ass, wasn't beucase of lucas.....rasmussen built that band and lucas took credit for it at the highschool....when he saw the next generation wasn't "the best" he took off.....bastard... |
