Additionally, my bro, my sis, and my cousin have all complained about his demeanor and the fact that he only goes 2-3 times in the week to CHS to teach. They have also mentioned he only picks out his best kids to perform at certain events, which leads me to think--where's the cohesiveness of the band???

well yeah he only takes the best or else we wouldn't win Cool ...puro Calecia tromboners Very Happy

Calexico HIgh Band WINS sweepstakes at Brawley Cattle Call Parade, sweepstakes is first place band all-around. thye win it with a score of 89.2, De Anza Junior High comes in in second over-all with score of 83.4, and third over all with a score of 80.1 was Holtville Highschool.

Southwest did not compete-would have lost anyways

Brawley did not compete, but would have put up good challenge

Imperial did not compete, would have lost anways, new band director this year, sucks

Cetral did not compete but would of put a good challenge

Calexico won sweepstakes twice i na row, Holtville won the year before in 2003

Kinda fucked up when your band doesn't represent their hometown in their own home.

Brawley CAN'T compete in the parade becuase they're the host band, but they march in it anyways, Imperial who jsut aquired a new band teacher who's never taught band ever was not ready for the competition, SouthWest didn't go becuase they had a Veterans Parade in Sandiego the day before, and Supposedly Central can't go because they jsut lost the Bell game so they can't go into bralwey for a day Confused .......
