Real Italian food is supposed to be hard, in the center at least.

I read a while back that it's "ghetto" to order pasta at a fine Italian restaurant.

that's incorrect, i think you mean spaghetti, that's not considered fine italian food...saying pasta is very broad...

I'm just relaying what I read. I usually order the finest pizza when I eat Italian.

I've got to give props to Celia's Restaurant in El Centro.

It may not be authentic Mexican, but it's good, and the service is polite and fast.

Cicinellis was good, unless I am used to substandard food. Also Juniors on Adams Ave. in El Centro serves fast, good sized portions of good american dishes at an affordable price.

Talking about Italian, Live Oak Springs in the area of the Golden Acorn Casino has a restaurant that serves different types of food, but their Italian is great, a nice romantic dinner.
