Tony Weeks es un fuckyous, like Chavez called Steele.

He obviously took out the mouthpiece to gain more rest time on the second knockdown.

I didn't see the fight, but it looks like both fighters were spent in the 10th round and it could've gone either way.

that had to be one of the greatest fights I had seen in awhile. Yeah Corrales spit out the mouthpiece and got warned. WTF else could the ref had done. He could not have deducted a point if he hadn't warned him before. The fight was stopped appropriately cause Castillo was a rag doll on the ropes and was out of it. He did not seem to complain right when the fight was stopped. Not until he regained some of his senses did he complain but he didn't really insult Corrales I do not know if either on of them has any gas left to have another battle of that caliber.

WBC orders immediate rematch
between Corrales and Castillo!
Corrales camp appeals WBC ruling
The WBC has ordered an immediate rematch between lightweight champion Diego Corrales and former champ Jose Luis Castillo. Castillo protested Corrales' tenth round TKO win to the Mexico City-based sanctioning body, arguing that Corrales was given extra time to recover after being knocked down twice earlier in round ten of their classic confrontation on May 7. The Corrales camp has appealed the WBC's direct rematch order and the matter will now go to the WBC appeals committee. Corrales holds both the WBC and WBO lightweight crowns.

Jose Luis Castillos younger brother, Ricardo "El Piolo" Castillo will face Antonio "El Barrio" Meza in Plaza Calafia in Mexicali on Friday June 24th @ 8p.m. for the Mexican Championship. Jose Luis Castillo and I'm almost sure Erik "El Terrible" Morales (El Barrio's promoter) will be there. Both fighters are from Mexicali and "El Barrio's" undefeated record and "El Piolo's" Mexican championship will be on the line. Should be a very good fight, specially since they really don't like each other.

There have been all kinds of upsets this year so far, we'll see if the upcoming fights have same results.

Have you heard of Bardo Gutierrez fighting pro in Mex? He's from Calex?

anyone going to support JLCastillo? if not, fight will be shown at "el dum" i think is what is it called in mexicali. last week we saw roy jones get lit up like a xmas tree right there. mexicali girls are the best.

Odds have Corrales a slight favorite over Castillo. If its as good as the first fight i give props to both fighters, but being a Cachanilla myself, gotta root for Jose Luis Castillo. This is going to be revenge. Vamos Temible, Duro. Gana tus titulos para atras. Suerte.

showtime ppv this sat oct 8 Mexicali/Empalme on the map.

Two-time world champion Jose Luis Castillo shook out at Caesars Palace today and said he is "1000 per cent ready" to take on Diego 'Chico' Corrales in 'One More Time - The Epic Rematch' at the Thomas and Mack on Saturday night. "Corrales won the first battle - but I am going to win the war and believe me, this second fight will be a war," said Castillo. Castillo, with a large crowd wrapped around an outdoor ring, shook out, hit the mitts, cracked the speed bag and then signed many autographs and posed for photographs with fight fans. He looked in top condition, was in excellent spirits and was at the outdoor arena - the Roman Plaza at Caesars Palace - for over an hour. Carlos 'Famoso' Hernandez, Jorge Arce, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. then hit the ring followed by Chico Corrales. Chavez Jr., it was announced today, will take on Jeremy Stiers of Kansas City. The fight is scheduled for six rounds and will appear on the Showtime PPV telecast. On Wednesday, promoters Gary Shaw and Bob Arum will host the final press conference in the Mouton Room at Wynn Las Vegas, 11:30 am. 'One More Time - The Epic Rematch' is promoted by Gary Shaw Productions, Top Rank in association with Caesars Palace and Wynn Las Vegas and will be available on Showtime PPV.
