| The cholos are being recruited by the USDHS's Urban Elite Task Force in record numbers in order to protect our local border from terrorists. Cholos can now legitimately claim to be defending their territory, which has always been the government's, due to this national threat. |

hahahaha.. yea... anyway... i really dont see a problem with cholos if they are actually cool with you... if cholos are a problem, then i dont see why "rebels" werent a problem back in the day... or skaters and "punks" being a problem now... i personally dont give a shit about any of those groups and neither should anyone  |

Cholos are subhumans. Have you seen the guy with the tattooed clown face?
What good do they do for the city? Nothing. Just walk and ride their bikes around with staring problems and occasionally vandalize property. They also have an outdated fashion style and lack creativity when it comes to hair styles.
The biggest problem? Most don't seem to outgrow it. |

You can say whatever, but I have been here for a long time and Calecia wouldn't be Calecia with out the CHOLOS that named it that!! 
Is almost like taking Chicali and saying that the gringos invented that. |

| If you really think about it, Calecia was a word spoken by cholos to describe where they came from. Now, it's a word everyone can say without being affiliated with a gang, or lifestyle, etc. Kind of like the word Chicano. It used to be an insult to be called one, now it's not. Funny how time heals... |

| I really don't see how cholos are a problem now. I remember, back in the early to mid 90's, when some of us were in high school and junior high, they were a big problem. They did go around trying to act tough, with a staring problem, vandalizing property, intimidating younger kids, and "promoting" their affiliation to gangs. This is what sometimes made them "intimidating" to some people. Now, if someone actually tries to come out with those same antics, it's funny, not intimidating. To me, they are more like clowns than a problem now. |

Bullshit. Calexico wouldn't be what it is if it weren't for all the Mexicans.
Cholos make up a very small percentage of the population. I know this may be a little deceiving because you always see so many of them out and about, but the truth is that that's all they seem to do: be out and about.
Sure, there's now a newer generation of hoods that hang out on Web sites trying to hook up and even claiming C-13 on guestbooks and message boards, but they stick to that. God knows they only come to Calecia.com hoping to find La Shy Girl or La Dimples stripping on a Web cam, but that's where we've got them.
Calecia.com isn't about smiling now and crying later. The day it begins to resemble that... POOF! |
