I went to Costco looking for an Olympic Bench & Weight set, but I only found the Bowflex crap in stock. I looked in their website but it takes over a month for them to deliver them, plus they charge quite a bit for S&H.
Then I looked in the Sports Authority website and saw the same bench from Costco at a lower price, but I would have to pick them up myself in San Diego, which is no problem if it means paying less. I was about to go up there but I decided to call first before leaving, and they told me that they don't have those benches in the store, only through the internet (where I would have to pay over $100 bucks for S&H).
Anybody know where I can pick up a pretty good quality weight bench in san diego or anywhere close by? (Nautilus, Golds Gym, Powerhouse, etc..) |

| I'm sure it does work, but I like the feeling of being able to lift a heavy load of bar and weights. |

Well, it all depends how much money you are willing to drop and what you want.
This site has a lot of stuff and the S&H is already included in many:

If you really want to save yourself some money, do a chicanada by getting various sized pairs of tin cans, steel poles and filling them up with cement. Use two dining chairs as your bench.
Pump away. |

I'm looking for an olympic Bench with the Lat Pull Down.
I called Costco and they said they don't know when they'll be getting the new sets, since the once they sold, the Nautilus, were discontinued. I called the Fitness Warehouse in San Diego and they told me that they no longer sell the benches with the Lat Pull down cause of a huge lawsuit, cause I guess the benches were tipping over cause of the weight. |

It is dangerous in the Valley you may be mistaken as an illegal by our fine Homeland security people, and who runs with an ID or Passport or whatever, to much risk. |
