| Something has to be wrong with the city council or the chamber of commerce because Calexico should be the most commerically successful city in the valley due to it's proximity to Mexicali and it's 1 million plus residents that come spend their dollars over here. There are dozens of other border cities that benefit from their sister cities across the border. |

I think you should move to Mex. Problem solved. |

Asking your peeps doesn't count.
When I think of Super Shopping I think paying some sort of bill, kegs, and getting denied in 7th and 8th grade. I mean what was the big deal of having 7-12 teenagers coming in and buying their entire stock of eggs? |

I do live in chicali. Yet I don't think that will solve the problem of businesses closing in calexico. |

In memory of Super Shopping, we should all parade it's aisles on shopping carts and end it at the keg room with a celebration.

Yeah, and that keg should be filled with carbonated water. |

I agree. I went there last friday and EVERYTHING was gone. Empty. Sad but true. My favorite store and a Calexico tradition is gone. I been there all my life and now life without Apple Market will be strange for me and my family who were loyal costumers for more than 22 years. Marc Schanz from the IV press ran an ariticle on yesturdays paper.
