According to the unofficial official Ramones Web site and not the official official Ramones Web site, Marky Ramone and a few other musicians will be playing in Mexicali on February 26, 2005 at The Dume.

I've never heard of the place so it might be Dune, which looks like a club. I could be wrong though. We'll list it under events once we get more confirmed information on the show.

Although I've seen Marky Ramone perform before with The Misfits: Project 1950 ensemble, I wouldn't mind checking out this performance as it will be all Ramones and Joey Ramone (solo) tracks. According to the site's message board, the South American shows were awesome with thousands of fans chanting "Hey! Ho! Let's go!" and so forth.

Will the Chicali crowd be as cool?

Check out this flyer, it's one day off, but is probably the same event. Chicali Promoters don't agree on the date/place of the events until a week before it happens so that's probably it...

I heard many 14 and 15 year olds were in attendance. So apparently it was only Marky Ramone that was there. Does this really count as the Ramones, or is it more of a cover band?

FYI: Marky Ramone is not the original Ramones drummer. Plus, he's a drummer, so who really gives a shit?

Marky Ramone will be in Chicali again on May 14th. I believe he will be "spinning."

Didn't even pay attention to that. I'm assuming the poster is right.
